Going Once! Going Twice! SOLD - $900!!
Carla's "Asian Waters" gourd (at right) was auctioned at the annual KVIE Art Auction fundraiser for $900 (that's $500 over its initial price!). She would like to personally thank the buyer for both supporting her art and public television in such a tremendous way.

New Gallery News!
Carla is now exhibiting her work in a new gallery, The Feather River Gallery in Graeagle, CA, that also represents wonderful Plein Air artists from Carmel, Ca. and a group of sculptors, potters, glass blowers and 2D artists from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Pre-Order Carla's Upcoming Book!
Carla is a featured artist in the upcoming book being published by Sterling Publications. The book: Beyond The Basics: Gourd Art, will be available starting in November 2005.

25 artists from around the country were contacted to create a project for the book, reflecting gourds in a fine art light. Carla chose to create a gourd with foils and pigmented inks. All the projects offered have full color photos and concise step by step instructions.
