The iconic history of the Native Americans, particularly in the Four Corners region of America, is a history of tradition , spirituality, symbolism and storytelling. It is a history of ancient ways and worn sandstone. Clay pottery shards found with faded lines and color on them; what hands made such beauty? I , like so many others, feel the need to connect to the timelessness of that world. Maybe it’s the storytelling that draws me in or maybe its just my need to have my own life come full circle. My Native American fine art gourds fill my heart and bring me peace.
